LTE low TP @1MB upload

Dear experts, we are facing issue with low throughput samples for very small size data uploaded.
RSRP, sinr, cqi is in acceptable range.
No radio congestion.

All sector or not . If all sector low TP please check License and Transmission first .
If not All sector please check VSWR first .

Hello,

Many steps involved in Throughput Troubleshooting.

First test with different devices as well means check with dongles and handset.
Check backhaul txn at ETHPORT
CHECK by uploading heavy files and more than one file at a time.
check with different scheduling strategy
Perform UDP/TCP testing etc

Also I think you cant get good throughput on low size files because of proportion fare. Use heavy files

Hi thanks. With heavy files and parallel stream we are getting good speeds. I am investigating if it has to do anything with eNB not scheduling small packets.

we are having low throughput issues in our LTE roll-out ( Transmission is Huawei(RTN 950A), eNB is E//).

Hi,

I think, you should do many testing:

- Do ping test
- check Tx with UDP/TCP testing and look if there are packet loss.
- check VSWR If issues are specific point or eNode B.
- check ETH configuration side eNB and side IPRAN, could be botle neck as root cause
