query regarding the LTE FRAME STRUCTURE.


While going through the initial cell search mechanism in lte(fdd mode) understood that in a 10msec radio frame we have two PSS and two SSS . why is required to have two sync channels? also SSS apears first then PSS. why is it designed like that.

One for slot synchronization, and the other is for the frame synchronization. Also, the Physical Layer Cell ID is embedded in them.

Ok,but question is why we require two signalling in 10msec frame.
second is why PSS followed after SSS, actually it should be PSS first then SSS.
