Role of Access in daily routien NPM tasks

Hi guys
Could you share your experience as to what level and for what jobs on daily basis you use MS ACCESS besides excel that we all know is compulsary for RF.
I want to know the tasks that really need MS ACCESS like in NPM role we need to respond to dashboards every day KPIs to our bosses. What data you store, for what and how it is useful when using ACCESS.

MS access can be used in conditions as we have to work with large database like combined Neighbor details, Reports which are having beyond excel range.

Also to add we like wise VBA in excel, we could have coding in MS access which is little bit faster and easier.
