Microsoft installed me Windows 10 on a computer that had Windows 7 32 -bit .

Windows 10 does not recognize the emu multikey .
In particular, Windows 10 does not recognize devcon.exe as valid command .
Has someone an idea to solve the problem ?

First you need to run command prompt as administrator then replace this with your devcon.

The following link explains a bit about devcon in windows 10. By the way have you set devcon compatibility to win 7 and run as admin.

Just change UAC or also activating test mode ...etc ?, I believe activating test mode and disable driver signature maybe a solution

I have Run bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS, bcdedit -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS and bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF.
I enter in Device Manager ( right click on windows logo on lower left side)
I HAVE Select System Devices.
I go to the Action (menu) Click on Add Legacy Hardware.
When the Add Hardware window appears I click Next.
Then I select= Install the Hardware that I manually Select From A List (Advanced)
Then I Select= System Devices ... click Next
Then I click= Have disk
Then I browse for the directory where my multiKey drivers are stored.. Click Ok, then Next.Next, Finish
I emu can install it , but the problem is that Windows 10 does not recognize the drive sentinel pro and sentinel super pro.

Ok dear, understand you.... in this case u need check two very important things.

1. Check have install sentinel driver 7.5.0 up
2. Very important u have reg file?, maybe: (Keys, Key or Key.reg Keys.reg) inside you folder emulator u have files:

*.sys (Driver Emulator)
*.inf (Info about Emul)
*.Cat (Catalog for validate driver, only need in win 7 up)
*.Reg (Info and data from dongle, is neccessary or not possible install you emul) --> This is the most important for install emul :)

in my experience, in some cases, it is important enter in:

"Win + R" ---> Write (services.msc) and ENTER

Search Sentinel service is RUN ---> Rigth clik Start

This tips you need try and publish here how did it go?

Greetings,

I am having a problem with MultiKey in Win 10 x64. I am able to install it and have it run, but after a restart or two, it is once again rejected as an unsigned driver. I did try entering the following command, to no avail:

bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on

I also tried using a new program I heard about called Mkbus, but I was unable to get this working. I re-dumped the HASP (I do own the program), though I not certain I set up the reg file correctly. I am no expert in these matters. When I attempted to install the Mkbus, it appears under other devices as MultiUSB Key with a yellow flag. The status says that the drivers for this device are not installed.

Any help any of you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, in advance.

1) uninstall any previous emulators
2) use clean tool supplied with latest mkbus:

http://smart-pc-expert.com/mkbus-0-18-2-5-dongle-emulator/
..credits to its author :victory: /...study Keys(.reg) file for a proper syntax/

3) or do it manually :
- clean all old emu's *.inf, *.pnf files from: ..\Windows\inf\ (find proper files searching inside oemXX.inf files for emulators names, edit *.inf with notepad)
- remove all emu's driver packages from ..\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository (find them by names but before deleting them, you have to set you as administrator
like an owner of each directory, and set rights of full control for yourself -> RMB -> Properties->Security->Advanced -> Owner...apply your ownership etc )
- remove all emu's driver *.sys files from ..\Windows\System32
- clean proper services names from registry: regedit -> HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\... and HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001...00x
- restart PC
- reinstall hasp drivers (I recommend v.6.5x)
- install mkbus again (if windows want to run drivers in test mode - approve it)

..it should work

I tried markmorrickā€™s suggestion, well actually I restored my system to the configuration I had when first updating to Windows 10. I then deleted multikey in its entirety. Before I installed the Mkbus I installed its certificate manually.

But, after I install Mkbus the device manager shows it listed under Other Devices (not under USB controllers where it should be) as MultiUSB Key with a yellow flag. The flag indicating error code 28 there are no compatible drivers for this device.

I even tried reinstalling the HASP drivers after, but that did nothing.
