Nemo Walker Air is a portable tool for indoor benchmarking and multi-technology measurements.

Nemo Walker Air is an Android-based indoor benchmarking system that enables performing extensive synchronized measurements. One tablet acts as a Master, conducting measurements by sending commands to up to seven test terminals via a Bluetooth connection. Nemo Walker Air features include POLQA and PESQ voice quality testing, PEVQ-S video quality testing, forcing features, YouTube video streaming, and live map support with BTS icons.
Nemo Walker Air provides you with the best real-time measurement and benchmarking by using multiple technologies. Nemo Walker Air’s extensive application testing features offer full application level metrics on voice calls, voice quality, FTP/HTTP data transfers, Iperf, HTML browsing, YouTube streaming, Facebook testing, LinkedIn testing, Twitter testing, Instagram testing, email testing, SMS & MMS messaging, and ping.
An optional, customized backpack offers a compact carrying solution for the whole system. The backpack has specially made slots for six devices. It is also lightweight, weighing just 3,6kg when fully loaded with a complete set of Nemo Walker Air equipment. Nemo Walker Air backpack includes high quality USB batteries, and can be used as a standalone system without an external power source.
Real-time analysis of DAS (distributed antenna system) & Small Cell anomalies
With a distributed antenna system (DAS) and Small Cell RF test, the walk test goal with Nemo Walker Air is to prove antenna connectivity and that antennas in every Sector/Zone are transmitting the correct Primary Scrambling Codes (PSCs) and/or Primary Cell Identities (PCIs) at acceptable signal levels.
Any anomalies could include:
Antennas / Small Cells not transmitting
Poor signal strength
Incorrect PSC/PCI
To be able to perform measurements to meet the operator’s needs, Nemo Walker Air can:
Discriminate between different antennas of DAS and determine if a specific carrier is configured incorrectly on the cell
Measure distinguished and divided environments as separate zones, which are carrying planned UMTS and LTE carriers.
Perform real-time analysis to identify if the antennas of the DAS are transmitting as they should. Measurements will also distinguish between outdoor macro layer and indoor layer to secure that the built in building coverage offers the planned service level
Versatile Indoor Benchmarking – for all wireless technologies
Nemo Walker Air indoor benchmarking tool offers real-time display of key RF and application level metrics, such as VQ MOS score. The product has support for voice call, HTTP, FTP, Iperf, HTML, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, SMS & MMS, email, and ICMP ping testing. It supports measurements on GSM, CDMA, EVDO, WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+, LTE / LTE Cat 6, and WiFi (HetNet) networks.
Post-processing and analysis
Anite’s Nemo post-processing tools Nemo Analyze, Nemo WindCatcher, and Nemo Xynergy support data from Nemo Walker Air. Nemo WindCatcher and Nemo Xynergy have specific Small Cells modules targeted to make post-processing more efficient and automate the post-processing of data from in-building measurements.
