Hi Guys
i wanna share with you this abnormal phenomena on RAN 15 after open Enhancement and Optimization Switches related to Re-Establishment Feature:
improvements:
1- CS & PS Drop Call Decreased
2- HSPA RAB Setup Success Rate Enhanced a lot from 99.2 % to 99.8% .
abnormal Degradation:
the PS R99 RAB Setup success Rate degraded from 99.5 % to 90 % suddenly which is abnormal. failures are coming With Reason "Cell Update Failure FHHO" , this KPI degraded greatly because number of R99 RAB attempts very Few (2000 attempts per day) and this why if 200 of them are failures , The failure rate will be 10 % .
i switched off the "RB_SETUP_RL_REEST_SWITCH" under SET URRCTRLSWITCH command and R99 RAB Setup Success Rate Back to its Normal Trend 99.5 %, but the HSPA RAB Setup Success Rate Decreased about 0.3 % .
is any one Faced similar problem and is there any Suggestion to balance between R99 & HSPA Rab setup Success Rate without switching off "RB_SETUP_RL_REEST_SWITCH" because it is very good Parameter.
thanks
Mounir
