Nemo Outdoor 7.60 Released
Anite Network Testing is introducing support for LTE-A FDD, 3 carrier aggregation Cat 6 (300Mbps) testing with Qualcomm Snapdragon 808. The measurements provide detailed information about the primary (PCell), 1st (SCell0), and 2nd (SCell1) secondary component carriers, including cell type, PCI, CFI, band, bandwidth, link adaptation, and radio resource allocation.
Indoor small cells and distributed antenna systems (DAS) are deployed for making cellular coverage available for indoor spaces, for example, at shopping malls, airports, and event venues. Anite offers a comprehensive set of tools for indoor cell deployment, verification, and acceptance: from data collection to post-processing and analytics. Nemo Outdoor introduces new small cell and DAS indoor verification capabilities: DAS anomaly analysis and real-time RF ingress detection. These features are also supported in our handheld drive test tools Nemo Handy and Nemo Walker Air.
With DAS anomaly analysis users can easily check and verify in-building small cells and DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) antennas by giving a pass, fail, or untested result for each cell. With this simple test, network engineers can quickly verify that all cells are transmitting without the need to revisit the indoor venue.
Nemo Outdoor 7.6.0 release includes support for the following new features:
-LTE-A 3 Component Carrier Aggregation
-Small cell and DAS indoor measurement enhancements
-New features of Nemo Media Router 2.30 including packet capturing and phone UI monitoring and control, over-the-air updates etc.
-Dropbox testing (PC-based)
-IPv4v6 tunneling
-TD-SCDMA support with Nemo FSR1 scanner receiver
-PCTel MXflex
-R&S TSME MIMO measurements
-Qualcomm handler enhancements
-HiSilicon handler enhancements
-Measurement file uploading to Nemo Xynergy
Please read the Nemo Outdoor Release Notes for further information.
