i don't know about m7,but i know that e5776 and e5375 can be easilly cr to connect the dt soft.

you need flash mobile with specific ROM and license. it's very complex.

Yes you need a license!!!
To connect Mate 7 to Probe for Drive Test you need to update License file using (Huut_Net_V2.0) software.
then installed HUA7.2.9 to detect the phone ports configuration
now you can connect Mate 7 to Probe
