For (potential) mountain rescue during alpinism, I just got a MotoTrbo DP 2600 that got programmed by the seller on a whole bunch of frequencies, and one working frequency that we got for our association. Unfortunately, besides these programmed freqs, the device is locked and I can't add for example the frequency of a friend that is a guide and carry a device that has a different working frequency; I also cannot add the E canal that is used for emergency in the Alps. Since I'd like to get control from my device (that I paid quite a few euros!), I'm trying to get both the knowledge and the hard/software to get into it and unlock it. I hope the seller did not put a password since I read that in recent FW, the wireshark trick does not work anymore.
