Does anyone know if there is a way to lock a standard phone's (Galaxy S3 or iPhone 4 preferably) carrier and scrambler code?
I have been working upgrading the fiber back haul and currently between 4 of us we have 2 x Nokia C5 phones with Handy on them.
Problem is we can be working hundreds of kilometres from each other and the drive can get annoying. We don't need to be able to do anything more than lock onto whatever carriers and sectors on the base and make a phone call and visit a web page. If it doesn't work, we call in the Radio guys to fix it otherwise that is the end of it. We don't need all the fancy Nemo Handy features.
Is there a simple way to do this or should I order a phone from Anite with Handy installed on it. It seems so overkill to have so much functionality and cost to do something so simple.
