View Full Version : Sepura V6.3.3 Programmer and SRH 3500 Series

Hello all ive got 2 x Sepura SRH 3500 handhelds, a programming cable and the V6 software....i can upload customization and download back to radio no issues at all ...

so ive changed a few things on the radios such as tones, SDS, and DMO talk groups , but i have a strange issue.... one SRH 3500 when in DMO mode will show me the SDS status Card to send a status message, the 2nd radio which is programmed exactly the same way wont show the SDS card? ive tried and tried but still nothing? also im trying to set the backlight to "auto" when receiving a transmission in DMO but cant find that either? is it a Radio manager feature? or can it be done in V6? any suggestions will be great,

whilst we are here if anyone can point me in the direction of sending and receiving SDS on the sepura ie programming MNI,MCC GSSI etc feel free!

What version of software is stored in your radio? Press *477, go to point 3 and post there long number at the top of screen.

what does this tell you?? any ideas

i think its the other way around... im sure the one with 1500 is the one thats not working am i guessing that this is the firmware version? is there any way i can update the firmwares? if so anybody have the files ? :)

Yes, 160005001002 - it's V6.0-002, and 156001801002 - it's V5.6-002 version code.

Firmware can be upgraded and this should solve your problem, but I have files for Radio Manager only. As I know, it's not compatible with Dealer programmer.

Lastest actual firmware for SRH3500 is V10.0-008.

ah nightmare! i only have V6.3 programmer... and no chance of finding a working Radio manager!! and im guessing with the firmware updates these will have features such as auto backlight etc? and messaging! annoying!
