Hi Experts,
We are facing big degradation for our stadium in UL RSSI, it is being served by 6 RBS having 3 sectors each.
In 3G we have 3 carriers on W2100, due to high # of smartphones there is very high UL RSSI (~-60 in busy hours). Please share your experience.

Hi,

I checked your shared settings and actually -60 is very much abnormal. In this situation if we assume all of this ROT is due to users activity then maxUuLoad and ROTCOVERAGE increment is wrong decision (keep it as default only not reduce it also) u have to forget EUL Thr for the event. Secondly u did not mention number of HSDPA and EUL users from RBS side. Maybe due to wrong/low setting there is huge spill over to R99. What resource congestion you observe more(DL Pwr, DL Code, UL/CL CE )?

You may try IGR related parameters also to avoid high R99 usage .

Activating Interference suppression might help as well in this scenario

Share Open Loop PC setting maybe it require to be changed to bring down preamble power to slightly improve UL RSSI (Play with constantCpRach)

sirMaxTti setting also might be reviewed during the event

Hi.
Though your question is for E// eqipment, i will share a few tips For ALU equipment users:
UL Load managment for events:
1. Reduce the ReferenceRTWP from -106.1 to -99.0dBm (BTSEquipment/BTSCell and NodeBFDDCell)
2. Reduce ConstantValue from default -17 to -21 (to fine tune mobile output power)
3. Reduce SibMaxAllowedTxPoweronRach from 24 to 18 for pilot cells.

related to point01: if we will reduce ReferenceRTWP, you don't think we will not leave any room for schedule in such high UL RSSI environment. and how it will have impact, please explain.

Related to point03: SibMaxAllowedTxPoweronRach, what is this parameter and how it will help in reducing UL RSSI issue.
