Hi Experts,

Have anyone tried to change HS-SCCH power control settings, what was the impact on KPIs and kindly share what are possible values.
2nd how we can judge HS-SCCH perforamance from stats, if its not performing well then all scheduling information is being wasted and surely impacting over all HS performance.

Hi ,

HS-SCCH PC as you might know is an optional feature in E///. Basically its impact will be on saving power for HSDPA performance(Of course HSDPS Throughput will be better). In today's networks it shall be considered as basic feature. One noticable point during making trial is do not allow to bring HS-SCCH power very much low in this case HS_DSCH can not be decoded very much. Most probably you can evaluate its performance on pmRemainingResource related to DL PWR shortage. Another counter can help you is pmSumOfScchUsedPwr. I am recommending you to see the impact in cluster DT and TEMS can give you very good chart for HS-SCCH Decode Success rate as well.

Thanks Electron.

Just correction for the counter, its pmSumOfHSScchUsedPwr.

Thanks Shamim/Electron,

Is there any possibility to filter worst performing cells(via stats) in term of poor HS-SCCH detection success rate. (I know through TEMs its possible but its subject to driven area only)

What I know, its not possible from stats, you only source here is by drive test.

Hi,

As Shamim mentioned i would like to emphases that there is no possibility to check HS-SCCH performance vis STS yet.

Cheers
