CELLUPDATE_PROCEDURE_WAIT_UERSP_TIMEOUT !!

Dear experts,

I have a RAB Fail Ps Estab due to RNL. From PCHR it's due to CELLUPDATE_PROCEDURE_WAIT_UERSP_TIMEOUT. Also these fail follow the same trend as VS.FailCellUpdt.RLFail.NoReply.

From Hedex : After receiving a CELL UPDATE message carrying a cause value of "radio link failure" from the UE, the RNC sends a CELL UPDATE CONFIRM message to the UE and starts a timer to wait for a response message from the UE. If the RNC does not receive any response message from the UE before the timer expires, this counter is measured for the cell where the UE sends the CELL UPDATE message.

How to increase this timer ?

if i dont remember wrong, there was a timer under set ustatetimer which you can play with it for this case.

I am still facing this issue. Lot of VS.RAB.FailEstabPS.RNL correlated with VS.FailCellUpdt.RLFail.NoReply.

Only for PS. No impact on CS.

From PCHR (ECNO =-10 ... -7 dB), the RNC sends 3 times CELL UPDATE CONFIRM MESSAGE to the UE with no reponse. After the it release the RL.

i have almost same Failure but it is only for PS R99 and increased after i opened the RL Reestablshment switch " RB_SETUP_RL_REEST_SWITCH" which enhence DCH-DCH , the PCHR gives below Error :
Fault Reason "Uu Interface Failure" , Interface Fault Reason " CELLUPDATE_PROCEDURE_WAIT_UERSP_TIMEOUT" , Detailed Cause "RR_ERR_RNCAP_CU_WAIT_UE_RSP_TIMEOUT"

HSDPA and HSUPA RAB setup Failures Decreased , but unfortunately the R99 RAB setup Failure increased !!
any suggestion
