OK, I know what does mean MOS, we learned in the school but I dont know image how I can use these teoretical knowledge on this job position:


Circuit Core Operation Engineer
Testing of Orange voice services for mobile and fix PABX or VoIP domains
Testing network configuration for roaming services
Troubleshooting of customer complaints by usage of tracing tools and fault simulation on lab environment
Technology On-site and hands-on maintenance activities, preparation works for technology upgrades and topology changes

Personality requirements and skills
Graduate of technical university, profile of Telecommunications, Computer science or electrical engineering
Literate of ICT industry principles, IP networks and telecommunication networks
Knowledge of GSMA principles for standardizations and protocols for VoIP, IMS, SIGTRAN
Knowledge of using opensource protocol analyzer tools as Wireshark and opensource PBX services
Handson problemsolving approach, selfstudy & independent learning attitude, teachable and ready to learn from team members
English is a must for technical terms


It is job for big mobile operator in my country.

But I dont know image, How can I use this.
In what networks can measure Quality call? for example we can measuremet Qos in LTE network or 3G network ? it is difference ?

And I have else three quastion: What does mean roaming services?
Some example about tracing tools and fault simulation on lab environment ?
And what does mean this: "Technology On-site and hands-on maintenance activities"

sorry friend, we are using MOS for Radio Engineering
for Core Engineering, maybe there is different techniques

Hopefully, our forum mates could share helpful feedback

ok, do you can explain more, how we use this method in RF job. I learned much more theory in my school about MOS or E-model, but I can not understand how it I could practice.

normally, we do drive test using 2 mobiles calling each other
and there's specific audio file already recorded which used for comprison (it needs special mobiles with MOS algorithm included)

Which software, tools I need?
And can me explain which are roaming services?

I meand thet this is tool for measuremetn quality of call in core networks.
