ping smart phone and router 3G issue

Hi Experts,

In E// W13B, URA to DCH feature is activated.

if we do ping via USB modem then its always going to FACH instead of DCH(HS). (Possible modem is using TCP and starts with SYNC bits which are just 40-60bytes, its my assumption).

However if we do ping via smart phone its directly going to HS (DCH).

Why is it so and is there any internal mechanism in smart phones which is pushing connection to DCH.

Smart Phone is W995.
ping size : 32 bytes only
ulbuffersize is 512 bytes.

In smartphone there might be some other application acting in background that's why you have this observation.
