Hi Hihanbok,

In any case the UE is following a signalling procedure, like RB reconfiguration, you risk with a call drop. it is normal, as for 3G there is no nested signalling procedures, thus network needs to wait for UEs feedback on the RRC message sent. Depending on which Channel switching fails, you can take appropriate action. Eg, if 10ms to 2ms fails, you can simply deactivate the 10-to-2ms retry capability!
