Why a Baseband Card or Basebandpool only support 6 carriers???

Dear all,
I have a question about why a baseband card (or a baseband pool) only support maximum 6 carrier. With a nodeB has more than 6 carrier, i must use 2 baseband cards or split two baseband pools? This decrease the effectiveness of using pool?
Please give me some information or documents (3gpp specification, vendor documents...) about this question.

try UL CE Resource Pool feature

are u use Huawei type
if u used Huawei old type like WBBPb/d max config just only 6 cell UL/DL
if u used Huawei old type like WBBPF4 max config just only 12 cell UL/ 6 cell DL
if u want more u can use newest type UBBPd6 that support 12 DL/UL
