Hello all,
I bought a MTH800 in eBay, everything is ok with this unit (codeplug, firmwire, french language, etc...) but instead of this, I have the PTT function always pressed, like in DMO when I start it the radio is openning the TG and transmit.
I needed to program with "Receive only" in TMO to not disturb my company's cell.
So I opened the case and checked all the board, then with an error I put out the PTT contactor of the board, then I can see the 4 solderings board.
I thought the short-circuit could be from the Jack connector but when I washed this and kikced out dust the problem keeps in the radio.
Do you have a mean to help me to find a solution to this please?
Thank you for your help,

could you upload a photo of the ptt-button on the pcb? maybe you just need to solder a new on onto it.

Yes I will upload a picture in the next week when I have a few time to knock up.
Also maybe in the firmwire there isn't a solution to inhibit the PTT function?

Yes I did RX Only on my codeplug, so I do not disturb the listenning TG like PTT Denied is always written on the displays and hides me the listenning TG.
