SAIC capable MS penetration and VAMOS capable penetration MS.

Is the VAMOS feature in E******* contribute to failure in drop related to quality?

you can activate object type CELLMSCAP

Yes, in high traffic with vamos enable, it will be increase drop call due BQ since 1 TS handle 4 users but you can adjust vamos parameter ( quality and level) to reduce it.

Hi,
SAIC or Vamos-able phones are not a subject of E******* or other mobile vendors. It is totally MS provider chipset support; The penetration is low yet in Best Vamos implementation. Even it can not be seen well implemented in all expensive MS like iPhone.


Evidently, in bad radio condition, u will have more drop in call, and more possible in more sensitive codec of vamos. it is the reason that quality, rx lev capacity parameters are introduced to set the best compromise. as well it is not just E******* subject.

In our network MS SAIC penetration changed litter in few year recently, about ~60%. Vamos gain depend on how much frequency you have. With our trial show Vamos gain coresponding with this table below:
