MTM800 codeplug upgrade from 5633

I have MTM800 with codeplug version 5633. I can read and write it via standard CPS MR5.5.2 R6C.417.0, but CPS Plus with release packet MR5.14.9 says that radio codeplug version too old and I need release packet for 5633 to upgrade it to actual version 7375.

Does anyone have CPS Plus release packet for MTM800 codeplug version 5633? Or it's exists any other way to upgrade radio codeplug?

Hi,

You can't upgrade using CPS+ , it doesn't support lower release than MR5.9
You must use Legacy CPS to upgrade radio first, then import MR5.9 rpk to CPS+

Ok, but, as I understood, for upgrade via legacy CPS I need .z19 firmware file, and I can't upgrade only codeplug version without upgrading firmware?

I'm not sure to understand what you want to do (sorry about my english).

If you want to upgrade CP only, start Legacy CPS (any newer release than MR5.2.2) and use 'read CP with upgrade' in menu, but of course, then you will write this CP to radio, CP and FW version must match...

When you upgrade radio firmware with z19/s19 file, CPS rebuilds CP and updates it , so it remains compatible.
