Hi all,

I got ******** MTM800 (not MTM800E). I found pinout of RS232 cable, but I can't find pinout of PMKN4110 USB cable that connects to accessory connector.

Can anyone share PMKN4110 pinout or, better, full accessory connector reference for MTM800?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

it might help you. Some datasheets. These USB cables are the same like RS232 only includes FTDI chip to emulate COM over USB.

Really?

I was think that MTM800 have the same interfaces as MTH800/MTP850 - both RS232 (TTL) and native USB...

i.e. to program (write) MTM800E through the USB you will need a HKN6184 cable with circular front connector. It still installs two virtual COM ports as well. Depending on selection inside the CPS one COM port is dedicated to program the Transceiver another one - Panel. From the back side connector only TTL logic available independently from cable type, which might be TTL to FTDI USB or TTL to RS-232.

Anyway regarding the MTM800 accessories datasheet says, that only TTL cables are compatible. http://www.hertz-elektronik.de/hertz2009/download/technikdokumente/mtm800e+cm5000_tetra_mrt_zubehoerbroschuere_en_0309.pdf
