MTP850 is blank, help for Software

Hi guys,

the translation from German to English is done with Google Translate. Therefore, it may look funny.

Problem: MTP850 is blank, so WITHOUT software. Communicates with the computer but wonderful after I bought the com port cable.

My question is, how do I get the software on the radio? Depot CPS 6.0.2 I have.

But not the latest. I would like to have the latest software and the latest rpk. what must I do or where I should look for?

You can create a new codeplug (File->New codeplug) and write it to the terminal selecting carefully from the drop down menu the correct model number and version of your terminal.

only to write the codeplug is not enough. I think I have the firmware deleted. I'm still on the same level. Nothing goes.

Use "Write software" option in Depot.

If RA1AIE's suggestion fails, you have to create a new codeplug - see my previous post- and then try to use the File -> "Write entire codeplug" option/command [CTRL+E] and tell us what happens. It is the 13th option of the File menu.

I've managed with an older CPS, a software MR5.7 installed. Then cen CP and then I finally was able to upload the latest RPK. NOW it works.
