second 1800 layer addition in existing Dual band site (900/1800)

i want to add 1800 layer in existing dual band site with configuration 4/4/4 in 900 and 4/4/4 in 1800 using the same SBCCH which is in 900 (only RF MR module will be added) can any one tell what are the requirements for this configuration to work? i need to add 4/4/4 for this 1800 layer. system MR module is ESMC.

System module ESMC has 36TRXs capacity so it’s enough for your configuration.
As I understand you want activate Common BCCH, and launch 1800 as a slave layer: you need set segment id of master (900) and non bcch layer offset (NBL=8dB) on slave. You can tune NBL later according statistics.
It’s important to set NBL<>0 on slave not master, otherwise master will stop working causing a lot of call drops.
