Dear Experts,
What can be the reason for no incoming/outgoing HO attempts from 3G site?

Call setup is fine on all sectors.

Check neighbor definitions..

Check neighbor definitions..
All the neighbor definitions are ok. Synchronous HOs are happening but no asynchronous HOs at all.

Even UE can't monitor/detect anything in the neighbor list during DT.

Hi,

What sort of relation it have to be ? Inter RNC or Intra RNC? what about IUR definition between 2 RNC in case of Inter RNC relation? If all are correct try to restart the site.

Thanks for the reply.

It is intra-RNC. Already given sites reset and re-defined neighbor relations but to of no avail.

Hi Piscean21,

Have you checked the software version of your hardwares...sometimes it causes HO failures if soft version are lost or not upgraded..

For parameters, have you checked throughly them..is your neighbor not congested..

Thanks for the reply. Can you please brief a bit more on soft version?

UE can't monitor/detects neighbors during DT so effectively no HO attempt as well.

What do you mean you dont have IuR? Basically, you need to set this relationship between RNC to handover successfully either way. But license is needed for this.

Since you do not Iur most HO from inter RNC would not be possible except for CN-HHO (Core Network-Hard HO)
