Hallo.

Sorry for my bad Englich. Come from Google translator.

USB cable, MTP850 with Win XP computer no longer recognizes when the device is connected. In the Device Manager only "unknown device" is what can I do to bring it back to life?

Right click in the device in device manager and try to update the drivers, if that fails uninstall the device and plug back in and search for drivers.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately this does not help. I have previously deleted the software on the HRT, tried to install another one and then went nothing more.

Probably the bootloader is broken? Can I fix this? Depot CPS is available ...

you should be able to fix this with a serial data cable by clicking on 'write complete codeplug'

Thank nintrew. I look so I get a COM port cable. Or do you know if you can convert the USB cable? I found a conversion guide from serial to USB, then it's definitely the other way around?

as i know, you definitely need a PMKN4025A
serial to usb-modification is just adding an adapter for a virtual com port on usb. it is not the same as the normal usb-cable then

edit: i've never tried flashing a bricked device with a serial cable, since i don't have one, but i've seen posts about it many times

Hey.

I bought the serial cable and the 850 has resumed contact with the computer. Thaaaaaannnks.

Now I am, however, face the problem of getting the right software on the device. Depot software is available. Did you or someone else a small briefing?

as i said and know, it should work with a backup of your codeplug by clicking ''write entire codeplug''
