Hello all

i need to know what is 3G 2nd carrier dual stack mean please ??
and if we have 4 RRUs 80watt we only need 1 battery cabinet PBC05 1+1?? or more because i think that 1+1 unit can only handle 3 RRUs 80watt

thanks all

hello ; The Concept of the 3G second carrier can be realized by hardware in two ways ; first by using only one RRU and split the power internally into two carriers for example if you have RRUS 01 B1 or RRUW and the total power for each sector is 80 W , you can achieve second carrier by splitting the single RRU into two internal carriers each of 40W with only one TX/RX branch and another RX branch using radion Building block 12_1A,,, But if you Have RRUS 11 B1 , you can achieve second carrier by splitting this RRU into two carriers each of 40W with each branch working as TX/RX in the same time using Radio Building Block 22_1B........ The second way of realizing Second Carrier is by adding a second RRU(second power amplifier) where each RRU works as single carrier with Tx/RX , using RBB 22_1A , or 22_1C ...........As for Dual Stack , it means that the 3G cabinet will use both TDM E1s / T1s and Ethernet Packets as Transmission Medium in the same time .......... in this case the ethernet Traffic is usually refered to as HSDPA or HSDPA+ hope this will clarify the concept for you ....
