Radio planning coverage of complex structures in the macro environment presents radio engineers with many challenges. However, once the structure has been built some of those problems can be resolved by utilising different map data types. This document outlines the potential types of mapping available, the different methods for modelling and the potential advantages and disadvantages of each.
