Hi all,
Is there anybody here have experiences about EUL modulation scheme assignment in E/// system? how much is contribution of 16QAM and QPSK in your network ? Is there any way to change this contribution (any parameter? )? will it really affect EUL Throughput ?
Cheers

E******* do not support EUL 16QAM (rel7). All uplink transmissions are QPSK based.

We are talking about EUL (HSUPA) right? My reference is the vendors product documentation (ALEX). I am surprised about your Huawei findings. As far as I know there are no UEs that support 16QAM in the uplink (cat 7) on the market today.

Hi,
Yes, we are talking about EUL( HSUPA).Can you please share the subject or document in Alex which says E/// does not support 16QAM in UL i will check it in detail. Regarding Huawii i am surprised too .
Regarding Cat7 yes it is supporting 16QAM for E-DCH for example W995 TEMS phone can support.
