Hi all, just want to ask regarding handover between layer 3 to layer 2 in 2G Huawei. Supposed, it will be Layer HO will be triggered. Defined Interlayer Ho threshold for both serving and neighbor were 25 while adjacent inter-layer ho hysteresis is 67. For this definition, it tells that to triggered layer 3 to layer 2 handover neighbor cell need to satisfy the rx level (n) to be greater than - 82 dBm. What if serving cell and neighboring cell were already reached this -82 dBm, let say for serving cell we have -48 dBm while for neighbor cell we have -52 dBm and Neighbor cell still increasing. What should be our basis for this handover? What parameter should I alter to keep not to handover to layer 2. Thanks for the help!

HI okkin04,

Usually there is a cell_offset that you can increase or decrease in order to limit these type of handovers.
