also may be this happen when using WIFI

Hi,


CS page during using PS connection in GSM will be supported when tehre is optional link Gs interface between SGSN,MSC/VLR. There is no correlation between WiFi and paging in GSM/3G !

To add to what electron said, when a UE is using GPRS it cannot simultaneously listen to the paging channel. There are two ways around this, either via Gs or via the cheaper BSS Paging Co-ordination feature (no requirement for Gs interface). Ask your vendor about this.

Most likely DTM is activated in all network in the world these days. even through activating it Gs interface should be available in core network.

you should check DTM feature it it is activated or not.

Enable the feature: BSS Paging coordination then you would be able to receive paging without addition of Gs interface.
