The worst post processing tool I have used.... basically "slow and unstable"

I apologize for this error. I think it was the rar5 compression. It is reloaded and winzip only now. I got a PM on this today and I am now testing the DL. However, DSL is my only provider here and will be an hour.

Okay, I got to know what you are using to produce wonderful plots? I do like Mapinfo for the premium look on plots. However, I have not used a post process tool that an produce plots as fast a WindCatcher. I post process an 8 hour drive with 13 devices and it takes about 4 hours. Then, it takes 2.5 min for me to do a single plot into .pdf.

I am serious about saving time. What will fly faster as I a stretched for workloads now.

easy boy, I just shared my opinion about the tool, I used it some months ago and compare with actix or tems discovery is a joke, however, its price is around 10 times lower than actix, so it is understandable its performance.
personal experience same amount of logs in 2 identical pcs one using windcatcher and other using actix actix did the work 2 times faster everytime.

Understood and in no way meant my posting to seem aggressive.

TEMS Discovery is a decent tool for quick troubleshooting. Actix was dropped for lack of support in our office. We are now dropping Mapinfo and taking ArcGIS. I have the study material, but no time as of yet. (Is there ever?)

Yes, Actix is around 10 times more expensive than Windcatcher according to the CPM of the project, I did some test in my own pc using both softwares and same logs files (tems investigation recording tool) actix is 2 times faster post processing another thing I could observed windcatcher is also very slow to show you plots and suddenly the application exit for no specific reason these latest comparisons were not donw in my own pc but these kind of things happened very often to my co workers in that project.

Anyways do your test share your results, at the end of the day windcatcher is a "good" option for low budget projects.
