Need Further Insight Upon Gaining +Rep

I'm happy to become a more active part of the community. I stumbled upon this site years ago while working at another company. After filling another role in another company I again turned here for material. However, this time I want to take more of an active part and become involved.

I'm grateful that some of my posts have been well received and that I have been given a handful of "thanks" in the below posts:

This is the part where my question comes in. As a relative "newcomer", I too aspire to gain +15rep and hit the first threshold of site achievement. As a result, I have been closely watching my Reputation in the Control Panel. What I don't quite understand is why I only have one thread represented under my reputation received. If you were to review my above links, you will see that I have quite a bit more. Am I being penalized for thanking others for their efforts? I hope this isn't the case as I'll never hit +15--I like to show appreciation for others kindness more than I'll likely be able to provide such content that would be worthy of reciprocation.

Thank you in advance for anyone's insight into this situation :)

Also, I have seen such quality posts as shown below and still am unsure of what's going on. I haven't received any rep for Views, Daily Logins, and still don't see anything regarding my credit count. Is it possible things have changed or something is "down" atm?

This is a summary that I hope will help new members like me:
To download a attachment you need to become a member (junior member -> member). You also need credits.

To become a Member you need:
- At least 1 post,
- reputation greater than 15,
- registered time greater than 3 days

Reputation System:
By default you have 10 reputation posts. You can gain points by creating posts that other people thank for. The amount of reputation posts depends on their reputation power.

Credits:
How to earn credits:
- one post will add 1 credit;
- one thread will add 2 credits;
- other user download a attachment in your post will add 3 credits
- for each 100 views you get 10 credits
- each day you are loged in to this forum will get you credits (the more days in a row the more you get)


TL;DR: Create posts with useful stuff that people need. :)

Interestingly enough, I just had a few notifications stream in of +rep. There appears to be a 24hr delay between someone clicking +rep and it actually being represented on one's count in the control panel. Hopefully this concern & answer may assist others who are in the same boat. I did not stumble upon info that directly stated this anywhere.

I guess it makes sense to allow a buffer as to give time to better identify "shady activity". This would help prohibit one from receiving the fruits of this site by circumventing various message board standards.
