Dear Members,

I want to know if LTE can be deployed in 1.9/2.1 (2100) band?
Is such deployment FDD or TDD ?
Can VoLTE implemented in this band ?

Thanks

VoLTE runs on top of LTE...if LTE Operates regardless of Band/Freq/BW..then VoLTE will work...but many reports confirms that a LTE-FDD network will be better to do so...

All the possible LTE Bands are given below...including LTE-A

34798

34799

For VoLTE we need to implement IMS solution in another case doesn't work.

This is what I got as a result of GOOGLING...you can also do it .... Search "LTE BAND" and choose images in the results :p

You can also go to http://www.gsacom.com the GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association) website which gives you an updated list of LTE networks and a nice picture with the number of different worldwide commercial networks in the different bands.

You can also go to http://www.gsacom.com the GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association) website which gives you an updated list of LTE networks and a nice picture with the number of different worldwide commercial networks in the different bands.

In particular the graph with the number of commercial networks in the different FDD bands:
http://www.gsacom.com/downloads/pdf/Spectrum_used_in_commercially_launched_LTE_FDD_networks_051213.php4

As you see there is a limited number of comercial networks in LTE 2100MHz but it exists (if I'm not mistaking NTT DoCoMo started in LTE 2100MHz and I know one Thailand operator having deployed LTE 2100MHz).

NB: Note that you will certainly need to register to get access to the document (it is free of charge and you will be able to access a lot of interesting reports).
