Low data speed in 2G(Huawei)

Dear All Experts

Customer are complained that they are getting poor Data speed?? I checked
the all trx which are EDGE capability ..
So Which parameter i have to check and observe to increase the Data speed.
Your help is highly appreciated and will be great help.

check number of PDTCH slots available and if site is already congested
also you can check congestion on ABIS interface

You can increase Maxpdch threshold but it can return high drops on your concentric cells in huawei BSC6900.High value of UL and DL Multiplexing thresholds will also lead to low Edge GPRS speeds.
