Dear experts,
can you update me how I can display Bing and Google Maps in ICS Telecom?
It used to be ok with v.11, with new version 12, maps are not displayed correctly.

Thanks in advance.

Please be more specific, cards are not displayed or displayed incorrectly?
I just checked, and with versions 12.1.2 everything works fine.
If simply do not displayed that you have a problem with .bim file.

Thanks Paul_B. Here are details:

If simply do not displayed that you have a problem with .bim file.

I have .geo file for certain large area. I try to use bim. file to display the raster image over the .geo area instead of img/pal files. When zoom is far enough, raster is displayed correctly, but when I zoom in, tiles of Bing map is overlapped or mixed.
I heard ATDI shifted to new specifications of Bing maps. Probably I have to change something in bim file.
Another question is how to display Google maps in ICS Telecom? I've never got some instructions here in the Forum, therefore, I don't know how.

I would appreciate, if you and other experienced people can help me.

Regards,

Use Refresh key in order to display Bing Maps.
Near Angles , at the top there is a small square , click on this you can change map types.

Thanks Zeuscane
I found a small button which changes maps. But bing map still mixes the tales. Refresh button doesn't help. It seems the problem with bing.bim file.
Below is my bing.bim file except the key. Is it the same for new version or it must be changed?

mode=ONLINE
levels=1,19
pathCache=C:\BingParts
mapArea=90,-180,-90,180
layerType=Road
key="my personal bing map key goes here"

Here's how it looks at me:

mode=ONLINE
layerType=Road
mapArea=85.05112878,-180,-85.05112878,180
levels=1,19
key=
pathCache=C:\ATDI\Bing

All the same...

Have you tried to clear the bing cache?

Have you tried to clear the bing cache? Yeah, I did. No changes. Open Streets Map displays correctly but just bing map. Anyway, thanks all for your help.
We can leave without Bing map at the end of the day :)

How to get into Online Mode and get Bing free key ?

1. create BingPart directory in C
2. put bing.bim file in it (contents of the file we discussed here)
3. in ics telecom select bing.bim file instead of .img file (leave .pal empty)

you need to follow bing map site to obtain your personal Bing free key

I discovered what happens to bing maps in ICS Telecom .
Read here .
http://www.atdi.com/new-ics-and-htz-upgrades/

The API of Bing maps have been updated and so you need to rewrite the file bing.bim or waiting for new version.
