IRAT success rate and drop call improvement

Hi Exprts,

I improved call drop rate and IRAT SR with changing 2decno to 13 and 2drscp to -108 but I still under the target !

There are others parameters to improve more these KPIs ? (Underground design ).

its also important to check the 2G configuration in the RNCs (external GSM cells with the correct BCCH, BSIC, LAC, etc)

You want improve global drop 2g+3g or only 3g?

Which value of 2decno was before? maybe you can go further.

In a 2g+3g network i also retain more traffic in 3g and decrease global drop call

I mean keep the traffic more on 3g than on 2g...for example changing rscp from -90 to -105...


In your case it seems you also have 2g network. changing 2d from -14 to -13 you go quicker for 2g...if you put ecno -12 or even -10 you can do irat in better conditions.

For IRAT improvement you may try parameter tuning of gsmamountproprepeat from 4 to 0.

tune selectionPriority for all relations based on their contribution on attempt and success ; It is overal giving RNC level around 0.5% improvement based on my experience .
