Root cause due to UU no reply both in cs and ps

Hi experts,

Im currently under Huawei in 3G network. Most of the drops in PS and Cs is caused by UU no reply and for call set up fail the reason is due to RNL. Can some one explain further what happened why did the drop and call set up fail occurs thanks in advance :):)

You can play with CAC parameters..uplink equivalent users is set to default value, you can set to higher like 150 to 200 to minimize UU no reply counts..

Check the radio link timers Set in your network in RAN side. i.e T314?

After this change in CAC parameters, you could also set CELLULEQUNUMCAPACITY to a higher number (90) in order to increase access...

UU No Reply is not related directly with the admission thresholds so no need to change them at all. Of course, if u allow more users to access the network u will get higher load/noise so drop is likely to occur. This kind of drop can be due to hardware issue in the NodeB, transmission issue, of course radio conditions etc., really too many possible reasons. Some directions so to start at least your investigation - check the alarm log, sort out the top cells contributors, do a cell trace so to isolate the root cause of the drop, search for some possible faulty UE from Nastar or CHR/Call Fault (IMSI based) and so on....

does your node B use UMPT and using E1 transmission
if yes may u need to upgrade software from V200R014C00SPC350 become V200R014C00SPC354 (patch V200R014C00SPH358)
