Hi,
what are the expected Wideband PESQ values of AMR-WB in 3g or 2g networks?

Hi Boring ,

The values depend on the bit rates/radio conditions. Good Radio Conditions/Higher Bit Rate--> Higher the PESQ.

eg. For clean environment and bit rate of 12.65kbps, the expected value of PESQ should be around 3.7.

You can refer to the below table (for amr-wb bit rate 12.65) to comprehend the effect of radio conditions on PESQ:

Condition PESQ
Clean 3.745
1% FER 3.488
2% FER 3.268
3% FER 3.053
6% FER 2.525

If you need more details then do let me know. Will go thru my HD to find out some useful document on Wideband AMR Codecs.

Also consider looking into P.863 POLQA, which is the latest ITU standard for voice quality analysis and is designed to supersede PESQ for wideband and super-wideband use.
