I'd recommend you to read "CAMEL. INTELLIGENT NETWORKS FOR THE GSM, GPRS AND UMTS NETWORK" by Rogier Noldus. You can get it here (http://www.finetopix.com/showthread.php?30182-CAMEL-INTELLIGENT-NETWORKS-FOR-THE-GSM-GPRS-AND-UMTS-NETWORK&highlight=CAMEL). May be not so short as material you're looking for, but definitely it's easy to read and comprehensive book about varios CAMEL aspects.
