GSM1800 refarming for LTE

Hi LTE Experts,

I'm making an impact analysis for refarming 1800Mhz channels for LTE possible deployment. I would like to ask some of your views or ideas regarding the refarming.
1. Bandwidth Utilization of LTE. How much should I assign in LTE and what is the expected speed. DL and UL.
2. Guardband to be used for collocation of LTE to 1800 MHz site.
3. How many carriers/channels to needs to be allocated to achieve a certain speed in LTE.
4. related docs/links to support the analysis.
