W12 Call Re-establishment

All, anyone worked on W12 feature call reestablishment for E///?
can you share the timers and any results you may have?

Are you Sure that Call Re-Establishment is supported in W12 3G E///???
, because as far as I know is not supported yet, at least in W12 Revision C1 (Check the Parameters table from ALEX W12 Library attacched) doesn't appear any reference to timers T314 (RRC Re-Establishment for RT) and T315 ( Re-Establishment for NRT) .
These Timers are standard for 3GPP you can check more detail in 3GPP Reference: TS 25.331, RRC Protocol Specification.

Hi William,

Sorry, to be specific, its W12b edition. We have T314 timer included in them. I want to know if the CS call would actually go into Cell FACH during the re-establishment phase. I have only seen it happening during PS.

Hi Tsiz,

Actually I didnt work with E/// before, but in general regarding the call re-establishment, once u got bad radio conditions, the mobile will drop to Fach state -even if it is a voice call- if the radio conidtions have been retained before the timer expiry, the Re-establishment occur, otherwise the call will drop. from user point of view, it is not like having a voice over Fach, instead it will be a silent period till the drop or the establishment again.
