recently we have deployed ZTE 2G & 3G network. for the dual mode hand sets if the mobile is initially in GSm mode and when changed to dual mode it remains in GSM mode only similarly if the mobile is in UMTS mode and when changed to Dual mode it remains in UMTS mode.
As most of the smart phone which are available in market are by default set to dual mode, i need that the mobile should be given priority to UMTS network so that what ever may be the previous state as soon as the mobile is placed in dual mode it should preferably latched to UMTS netowrk so that people who has 3G facility should be preferebly selected to UMTS network for enjoying 3G services.
what prameters do i need to check at OMCR and what changes need to be done so that dual mode handset preferebly camps to 3G network in idle mode.
what parameter do i need to modify at ZTE OMCR so that there is blind cell reselection from 2G to 3G.
