Mapping 3G Cells to WBBP boards ?

Dear all,

In Huawei system, each WBBP card support up 6 Cell.
In our network we have 4 3G carrier (F1,F2,F3,F4) and some sites have 4 sectors.

So up to 16 cells which means 3 WBBPs cards.

- Softer handover require that the same Frequency Cells be in the same WBBPs card.
- DC-HSDPA require that cells in the same DC-Group (F1 and F2) , (F3,F4) should be in the same WBBP card.

Here we have to turn off DC-HSDPA and maintain softer HO, otherwise we will have lots of RL failura du to Softer HO failure.

Any suggestion to activate both Softer HO and DC-HSDPA in 4 sectors sites ?

based on your description it can't be implemented on 4 sector site, either DC-HSDPA or Softer HO

you can use for each sector 1 wbbp board with 4 carriers, in this case you will need 4 wbbp board, so you can activate DC-HSDPA on the 4 sectors, but you will deactivate softer HO, and instead of it you will relay on Soft HO, which will not has that much impact on network performance
