Has anyone connected one of the older tems phones to a newer copy of Tems Investigation? I assume that they should work, but would be good to know if anyone has had success.

I never tried. much better to use tems 5 to tems t68 if you are using tems t68.

Well I've taken a gamble and bought the phone, will update later if it connects to Tems 10.

you can use equipment file in old tems version to newest version. I think it will connect.
Why don't you try k790 or K800i?

I had the opportunity to get hold of an original Tems T68i very cheaply so decided to give it a try. I will also try out a DCU-11 cable to see if that allows connection through USB too. I expect to get everything next week so will update on outcome.

ok. it will work well for tems 8.1 I think. we used DCU-11 before and works well.

Got the phone this morning and currently on charge. So will try out later today. USB cable came yesterday so just a short wait for it to charge up.
Anyway in the mean time for the nostalgic among you here is a copy of Tems Investigation 4.1.1 no dongle needed.

Won't be able to check the working today. Cable I got won't install for me on windows 7. I assume the DCU-11 is a Prolific serial to USB converter but even with latest drivers it fails to starts so will need to wait till later this week.

Update, Looks like Tems 10 doesn't like the phone. The new DCU-11 cable installs OK. Phone is't seen by Tems though and can't be selected in ManualUE Config Utility.
Maybe some investigation in the XML file will prove successful. It's a shame as the T68 is a nice little phone.
