If parameter for PBGT handover Watch time is 10sec and Valid time is 3sec, will three noncontinuous 1sec valid time (for a total of 3sec (measured in a single watch time)) satisfy Valid time or only a 3sec continuous valid time can satisfy Valid time?

Only a 3sec continuous valid time can satisfy.

The triggering of PBGT handovers must meet the P/N criteria, that is, when the condition for PBGT handovers is met for a consecutive P seconds during N seconds, a PBGT handover is triggered

Hi Onigece,

In handover algorithm I, PBGT is intended for handover based on path loss, in real time, it seeks a cell with lower path loss and meeting certain system's requirements, and judges whether it is neccesary to perform handover. One triggering condition of this parameter is satisfying P/N criteria. So in your case, for P criteria or Watch time set which is 10 secs. and N criteria or Valid time is 3 secs. The consecutive 3 secs would trigger the PBGT handover instead of 1 secs nonconsecutive.
