Thanks RM77

But, what is advanced on those Ethernet Functions? What NEC has is something basic what every vendor offers...

Thx

Hi;
may be you're right ,however i'm not advertising for NEC simply it was the title of the shared DOC.
it will be better if you have similar ones from another vendor to share it here in this moment I need it in deed.
thanks in advance.

Hi

do you know if iPaso200 is the current one NEC has in the pipe?
Don't have a ppt here but today systems shall support more than 8 CoS queues, even when it is a nodal solution. Also some techniques to improve latency are important. Couln't get hold of the total buffer size NEC has in its iPaso box. You know it?

Once i get such detailed ppt i will of course share it

Hi;

That will be better if you give more details also with doc.

Hi Cost_reducer,

iPaso200 was released in 2010 and the Advanced Ethernet Functions is named as per configuration interface otherwise these functions are part of the "standard" ethernet functions NEC offers.
