Can you please help me to fix this problem:
MTC received Paging request, however, it does not send Channel Request and Paging Response.
So, although MOC received Assignment Command and Assignment Complete but The call is setup failure (Network send CC Disconnect to MOC).
What is problem in this case?
Thanks

Please confirm if both MOC & MTC is being attempted on same cell???

Check from CGI prospective, may be CGI defined at BSC & Core end are different.

Can you please explain more clearly? How do I check and reconfigure CGI?

Check for CGI with core teams then match with your own CGI at the BSS end.

Compare the MSC definition with the BSC defintion of the cell CGI , but this for all the cells or only one cell??

Hello,
your problem is not clearly described
I think you meant that you have problem with MTC
My suggestion is to check different scenarios:
1) call from Mobile network to PSTN
2) Call from PSTN to Mobile
3) Call from mobile to MSC fix numbers like as announcement

You need to chekc if you have problem within an specific MSC or between different MSCs

It is better to use 2 mobile phones in the same cell and in the same MSC and run the traces in BSC or RNC.

The potential problem could be:

1) Paging problem (paging high load)
2) The TCH bearer could be blocked on TN and Nodes between 2 users
Best Regards

Hello assassinhp,

when you say that the mobile station (MS) is receiving the paging, have you checked that the targeted TMSI or IMSI is the one belonging to your MS? because it is for me quite weird that the NS does no request for a channel when it has received a paging.
