Hi
I'm new to pathloss 4.0. My job is to use existing pathloss files and compare availabilities of different radio vendors (eg. marconi, ceragon etc).
The below report is an existing pl file.

117km link
3.7m antenna diamater (main & diversity)
Antenna - Andrew Antennas
Radio - Moseley
Propogation model (reliability method) : ITU-R P.530-12
Space diversity Improvement factor only 2.45 dB



These are my calculations(see attachment - mycalculation_Marconi"). I have changed the frequency,waveguide, radio equipment and the antenna diamaters. I am getting very good availability even though the frequency is higher and the diameter of the antenna is smaller. This is due to the space diversity improvement factor which is 35dB.

Are the calculations correct? What factors effect space diversity improvement factor? Is there a formula to use?
