MOS Value Probe & NEMO [Archive]

We have use different DT toosl for MOS testing which is Probe and NEMO. There is considerable difference in MOS values of both tools on average value in Probe is 3.3 and in NEMO is 2.5.Can any one tell me why this huge difference between both MOS values.

Dear raoj,

Please share more information about the test scenarios you've used.

I'm not familiar with Probe, but with Nemo you have several different test scenarios that can affect the score:
1. Score Algorithm: PESQ or POLQA
2. Test Type: "Mobile To Mobile" or "Mobile To Fixed"

In both cases ?
Same voice sample?
Is the difference the same for the server as well as the mobility logs ?

we are working on the same isssue but between Nemo and SwissQual /TEMS.
I think that the audio sequence lenght and language have an impact on MOS calculation.

i test is same; you check the HW ?
